The Lost Borough Brewing Company utilizes a three barrel brewhouse. This system is all electronically controlled and can be very labor-intensive. When we opened our doors, we started with nine barrels of fermentation capacity. Within one year, we added nine more barrels. As of right now there are four new fermenters being produced for us that will push our capacity over fifty barrels. The brewhouse was designed after Dan's original ten gallon brewhouse. There is a boil kettle, a hot liquor tank for heating water, and a mash vessel with a false bottom for mashing grains and making wort. At this moment in time, there can be anywhere from one to three batches of beer being made during a typical week. Please stop in sometime and enjoy the view of the brewing system through the windows.
